Its been a little while since I have updated, but I have just been working on getting our newborn stash all squared away. Kat is officially potty trained during the day, so I had to knit her up some other things, rather then all the longies/shorts I had planned on. I still have a couple skirts I want to do that won’t have the soaker underneath. I have been working on a couple new patterns as well as I have joined a congo on Hyena Cart- A La Mode. I will be knitting some instock items for there while I am babymooning. I am officially closing my customs list for a while now, everyone that is on the list is fine, but I won’t be taking anymore for a little while. We will see how things go with the congo, juggling 3 kiddos, and homeschooling. I am going to work on taking some pics of things I have completed recently, including matching sister halter dresses and a Strawberry top, along with a couple more newborn longies for Addy.

I just took pics of all the newborn items I have done for Addyson as well as a custom I just finished for a mama that is also due in August. This is my favorite for Addy…

Kim here is one pic, the rest are in the gallery link.

I have just a couple more rows of Kim’s skirt left before I bind off and get started on the finishing touches. It looks like I will have plenty for a hat as well
I am hoping to get it completed today and then washed and started in the blocking process tonight while I knit up the hat and then it should be ready for mailing on monday.
After this project is complete I am going back to preemie longies, I have 2 more pairs to do up for my gift swap partner that had her quads on June 1st. They only take a day so it should go quick.
After that my customs list is pretty open so I will just be working on things for Addyson since Katarina is now potty training. She is doing amazingly well and I am so proud of her. I wasn’t really going to push it, but she is ready and wants to do it. Crazy how fast they grow up….
I started Kim’s skirty today and its coming along very quickly. (Gotta love newborn sizes, lol) I have the entire undershorts done and have the skirt started. I am hoping to finish it up tomorrow so I can get it washed and blocked and out in the mail by the weekend.
I finished another skirt for Addy this morning and I loved how it turned out. I used a lace pattern that just looks really stunning. I am loving trying out some new techniques.
These last couple weeks have been crazy! My brother graduated Friday night from High School and so we had tons of out of town relatives here and so we have been gone almost all weekend just visiting and catching up.
Knitting wise: I have done 2 of the pairs of preemie longies for the quads. They were born on the 1st at 27 weeks 2 days gestation. Last I heard they are all doing great as well as mama. I am going to start the next 2 pairs sometime this week so they will be ready to ship when ever. Currently I am working on a skirt for our next baby. I am trying some different techniques and so I really can’t wait to see how it comes out. I think I will take a bunch of these newborn items over to Nicole’s and have her do a photo shoot of them for my gallery.
Or whatever normal is. lol.
I ordered the new curriculum for my son last week and got some for my daughter as well so she wont be completely bored. We started today so that we can be ahead and take about a month off in September with the arrival of the newest little sister.
I have been knitting for us and for a mama who just had quads last night. They are 27 weeks so if you think about it, they can use some extra prayers that they all recover and get to go home soon.
I am trying out some new techniques so that I can hopefully offer some of them to my customers in the near future. Most of them involve different cuff styles, I am experimenting with some different ruffles and such since I am getting bored with the same ones. lol
I also wanted to note that I do offer a couple different tie options now as well as hats! All the info is in the pricing list.
