Erin’s Skirt is sitting all packaged up awaiting my ability to print up a packing label. I will get this out tomorrow since I have to get to the post office since they are holding my yarn hostage
Harvest Rainbow newborn longies are coming along nicely. Leg 1 is cast off and Leg 2 is just about done, just needs a cuff. Then I just have to weave in ends and make a cord. The matching hat will go quickly too so I might have these ones completed by tomorrow depending on how crazy my weekend gets. As of right now, hubby is installing flooring over at our friends house and then we have a birthday party for a 3 year old in the afternoon.

Erin’s skirty is all dry and awaiting some sunshine so I can get some pictures of it all done. It looks absolutely stunning!
I got Rebecca’s yarn yesterday and already have the NT harvest rainbow working on the needles. I have 2 short rows completed, 1 to go and about 3 more inches of rise before I split for the legs.
On a personal note, we are getting down to the final weeks before we meet our daughter. My to do list keeps getting longer and longer with projects I would like to do, but yet my energy is lacking to actually accomplish it. lol. My son is going to be 5 next week!!! So crazy how quickly the years have gone. We are having a homemade ice cream party for him on the 8th and I am hoping by that time my last couple customs will be done. I am working with the ladies in my congo on a tinkerbell collab which I will be knitting some newborn/small longies for. The stocking for this will be on the 27th, so we will see if Addyson makes her appearance before or after this since she is due on the 25th.

I am so excited. Tomorrow night is the first time I stock my store! Its a collaboration store so several other mom’s are selling things as well and we all share the expense as well as help advertise for the whole group. I was able to get a newborn longies and hat set done, a large pair of longies as well as a cute fall colored hat.
I will try and upload all the pics to my gallery later this week.

I made some preemie longies for a mama in my due date group that had quads and I don’t think I shared any pics of them because I wanted it to be a surprise when she got them. I added them all to the gallery but I will still post one on the front page.
For size reference, that chair is 13 inches by 13 inches and fit all 4 pairs with hats on them. They were teeny tiny.
In other news, I have started the items for my first stocking at A La Mode. I am nervous but excited at the same time. I hope they sell. I am currently working on a solid pair in a dark tan/light brown color that I think is very gender neutral and will hide dirt well, always a plus with toddlers! I am making them in a Large size, so I am crossing my fingers that all goes as planned.

My day got crazy today. But I did get the scrappies ends all woven in and all 4 items are being blocked now. We are having a heat wave and so its still very warm so I think they will all be done drying tomorrow and I am going to take them over to my professional photographer friend and she will take some pics of them for me.
I have the extra hat about 3/4 of the way done. I am hoping to finish that off tomorrow as well. My daughter went to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s for a couple days and my son is in VBS during the morning’s so I should be able to get lots accomplished, providing the heat doesn’t make my hands swell up too bad.

Well I finished up the scrappies today and got the hat done. I wove in all the ends for the hat and still have about a dozen left on the longies, but I am too tired to finish them up tonight. I will get them done hopefully tomorrow morning and will post a pic or 2 of the sets before I start in on the last piece.

I was taking it easy this afternoon after church and managed to get the newborn scrappies almost done. I have both legs at about 4 inch inseam. Just 2 more inches to go! The ends will take a little bit to weave all in but I hope they will be done tomorrow and I can whip up the matching hat. This should give me enough time to work on the bonus hat pattern and still ship by the end of the week, no problem.

I decided to take it easy today and put myself on bedrest for the day to see if I felt better and it seems to have done the trick. I think I just need to lay low as much as possible for the next 3 weeks or so to get this baby fully cooked.
Since I was sitting around all day I got the smalls done as well as the hat. It turned out super cute and should be a nice warm set for a baby up in the cold north this winter.
Tomorrow we have our childbirth refresher class and will be gone most of the day. I will try and start the newborn scrappies, but no promises on that.

Well I didnt get them finished but I am about to split the legs, so we are still moving forward. I am not feeling great today, probably been over doing it and not drinking enough water. We went to the park with friends and then had 4H this evening so its been a busy day.
I also have been getting some hard news on a personal front, a friend of ours has been fighting lung cancer and went for a ct scan and the results didn’t come back favorably, he has 3 lesions on his brain now. That on top of my husband having a lot of stress at work and an impending BART strike I am feeling very emotional and stressed. A BART strike would cost us about $200 a week for my husband to go to work (which would do us in financially) and traffic will be so bad that it will take him about 4+ hours each way to drive in. Add the fact that I am 8 months pregnant, and having him that many hours away is very scary to me. I hate the fact that he is 2 hours away now.
Oye Vey, didn’t mean to turn this into a vent, must be time to go to bed. lol
