I am sending out emails today for all the custom slots for January so we can get shipping and measurements all worked out.
I can’t believe 2009 has come to an end. Its been a busy year for me! We have been to Florida and Montana. We had little miss Addyson Joy! Zack started Kindergarten. And most recent of all, we moved into a house! Life is still pretty crazy around here with the unpacking and New Years activities, but we are close to sorting out normal again. This month also marked the 1 year anniversary of DaKine Knits… I am so thankful to all my customers that have allowed me to knit for them. I am hoping to add more patterns/items to my list so that I can be even more useful to you all.
Thanks for a great year! Happy 2010 everyone!

We have been in our new place for a week now and I love it! So busy with Christmas prep and unpacking, and packing and cleaning the old place. Hubby is working a ridiculous amount of hours (too bad he is salary
) so I am also responsible for so much of the house/kid stuff right now. I have gotten practially no knitting done and I have 2 items that need to be done by Christmas and I am frantically trying to get Addy’s Christmas longies done by tomorrow. Probably not going to happen since my hubby got called into work and has been there for the night. Maybe though, kids are about to go to bed. lol
Zack is singing and has a special speaking part in our Christmas thing at church tomorrow. He is doing it both services! I am so proud, all the other kids can read but he had to memorize his part! He is reciting Mathew 2:10-11.

We are moving! We were so blessed to find a place that is bigger then what we have now, with a yard and garage for less then what we are paying now. No words can describe how amazed I am right now. God is truly amazing and goes above and beyond what our little heads can comprehend.
We get the keys tomorrow and will probably be moving officially on the 12th. We hope to have everything almost settled back to normal by Christmas!
Soooooo, that means my life is going to be a little crazier and communication might be a little slower.
Jessica-your second hat is almost done and will be finished up tonight once the kids are off to bed. Still planning on shipping them out tomorrow.
Erin- hat is dry and going out tomorrow. skirty postponed till after Christmas.
Kim- your hat went out today
I think that is everybody, my customs list will re-open around the 8th of January.

I got Jessica’s first hat done tonight and got started on the icord for the earflap one. I am hoping to get these done and shipped by this weekend. I am going to try and frog Erin’s longies tomorrow as well so that I can get started on the skirty.
We got news today that officially my husbands company is moving about 30 miles closer to us, so that is very amazing. He won’t have to drive 40 minutes plus take the train another 40 minutes each way anymore!!! His total commute will be about 1 hour straight driving time, no more waiting for the darn train! I am so happy
However, this is not the news I was referring to, hopefully tomorrow we will know!?! Prayers are always appreciated.
